Senior Testimonial

A letter appeared in my mailbox to inform me that I had been reported for driving erratically and was required to take a road test.If I lost my license, I could no longer live as I do–Independently–in a remote and lovely place.The clock ticked, relentlessly. The sun rose and set, and I tossed and turned until the middle of a miserable night, a very good idea found me out like a sweet dream… and in the morning–Dawn.
Dawn is a driving instructor–knowledgeable, thorough, patient and demanding. I had lessons and I practiced–in the driveway, on the road–backing, parking, turning, checking over my shoulder, scanning intersections.
The pages turned…the calendar said Today..the clock struck…I took the test…AND I PASSED!
The very good news is that I learned a lot, and I’m a better driver for it.
